Overview

emPower is SEGGER's evaluation board and prototyping platform to help developers quickly start prototyping and developing embedded applications. It is the reference design for testing SEGGER’s emPower OS embedded operating system for a wide array of embedded projects.

Key features

The emPower board is a powerful and flexible tool for embedded systems development. Equipped with a powerful microcontroller, it offers high performance with low power consumption.

Comprehensive ecosystem

The emPower board comes with extensive software support using the complete operating system emPower OS. It also includes J-Link debug technology, allowing for high-speed debugging and trace capabilities. This accelerates development time and enhances debugging efficiency.

Rich peripheral interface

The emPower board features a variety of interfaces and connectivity options, such as GPIOs, UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet, and more. This extensive peripheral support allows developers to easily connect and interface with other hardware components, sensors, and communication modules.

Drag & Drop Programming

The Drag & Drop Programming feature is an optional add-on of the J-Link OB that allows intuitive programming of the target MCU. SEGGER offers an example implementation for the emPower board that demonstrates how easily the microcontroller on the emPower board can be programmed.
