SystemView licensing conditions

SEGGER SystemView offers flexible licensing options for individual developers, teams, and organizations. Commercial licenses are available for different target device families and CPU architectures, with options for single users and development teams. All SystemView licenses are perpetual, with no annual subscription required.

The standard licensing model for SystemView is SEGGER's Commercial-use License (CUL), which allows the software to be used in commercial development environments. Depending on the requirements, users can choose between portable single-user and multi-user licenses.

For non-commercial use, SystemView is available free of charge under SEGGER's Friendly License.

License activation

1. Open SystemView

Open the SystemView > License Manager at Tools > License Manager

2. Add your license

In the License Manager, click Add License and enter your license key.

3. Start using SystemView

Connect your license-locked J-Link via USB. SystemView is now ready for use. 

Device-based licenses

In cooperation with selected silicon vendors, SEGGER offers free SystemView licenses for commercial development with specific devices. These device-based licenses are available for supported device families from participating manufacturers.

Free licenses are available for selected Analog Devices MAX-series MCUs.

Support and updates

A commercial license includes unlimited use of all SystemView versions released during the Support and Update period. No renewal is required to continue using these versions afterward. To access newer versions, the Support and Update period must be extended.
