Press release concerning the readers' test on SEGGER's Embedded Studio

SEGGER’s Embedded Studio Achieves Top Rating in German Elektronik Magazine

Readers of Germany’s Elektronik Magazine subjected the Embedded Studio development environment from SEGGER to an extensive practical test – where it achieved outstanding results.

Ten select readers were allowed to test Embedded Studio in practice. The test was divided into three categories: Start-up, Operation and Conclusion.

Testers were asked to rate these categories based on a scoring system: 1.0 – 5.0 (1.0-1.5 = Very Good, 5.0 = Doesn’t Meet Requirements).

Embedded Studio’s overall rating resulted in a score of 1.6. It achieved a score of 1.3 for Practical Operation and 1.8 for Price/Performance. These were the best results a product ever achieved in an Elektronik Magazine reader test - earning SEGGER a big congratulations from the publication’s editorial staff.

SEGGER’s CEO, Ivo Geilenbrügge, commented, “The outstanding result of the Elektronik reader test where ten experienced developers put Embedded Studio under the microscope really shows that our customers can take us at our word: Especially when it comes to our motto, “It simply works!” It shows that these aren’t just empty words. Making our customers happy has always been our highest priority at SEGGER.”
