SEGGER J-Link, J-Trace, and Flasher support new Renesas RZ/G3L and RZ/G3SE MPUs

SEGGER’s J-Link debug probes, J-Trace streaming trace probes, and Flasher in-circuit programmers now support the newly released Renesas RZ/G3L and RZ/G3SE microprocessors. Current support includes debugging the integrated Arm Cortex-M33 core and programming external QSPI flash, enabling developers to begin working with these parts of the new devices right away.

The RZ/G3L and RZ/G3SE combine up to four Arm Cortex-A55 cores running at up to 1.2 GHz with a Cortex-M33 core. Designed for HMI and IoT edge applications, the new MPUs offer high-speed connectivity including PCIe and TSN-capable Gigabit Ethernet while targeting low-power operation.
