SEGGER Building Monheim

SEGGER moves into new company building in Monheim am Rhein

Just seven months after breaking ground, SEGGER moved into its new 2,200 m2 global headquarters in Monheim am Rhein on September 1, 2018.

Monheim offers excellent road and rail connections to Duesseldorf and is a short commute for engineers living in the city. For international visitors, the new building is two minutes away from the A59 and is a 30 minutes taxi ride from Duesseldorf Airport.

SEGGER chose Monheim because it is a forward- thinking smart city that is highly attractive to innovative, high-technology companies: it has modern infrastructure with reliable high-speed fibre-optic connectivity, free municipal WiFi throughout the city, and even smart LED street lighting.

SEGGER's new building is designed around each division's requirements: engineering, production, marketing, and management. With ample room for expansion within the new building, and space for a second building on the same plot, SEGGER is set to continue developing and supporting its existing products and to add new products for years to come.

Employee wellbeing is important to SEGGER and the new building offers gym facilities, an expansive terrace and grounds for communal meals and activities, and a first-floor outside relaxation area.

“We are very delighted to move into the building. I must thank and congratulate all those who have worked so hard in contributing to the inauguration of this new office. The building is an important step to meet the increasing demand for SEGGER products”, says Ivo Geilenbrügge, Managing Director at SEGGER.
