We are thrilled to present our current production tools such as Flasher PRO, Portable PLUS and Secure as well as our new gang programmer Flasher ATE.
Flasher PRO is a programming device for microcontrollers with on-chip or external flash memory and an ARM core. The Flasher PRO supports RX and PPC cores. The target is programmed/flashed by J-Flash software or used in stand-alone mode. In addition, it has the full range of functions of our J-Link debug probes and can be connected to a PC with Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 via USB, Ethernet or RS232 interface become.
The Flasher Portable PLUS is a new member to the widely popular SEGGER Flasher family. It comes with an 1,8'' LCD to display additional information on the programming process. For untethered stand-alone operation, the new Flasher uses a rechargeable 680 mAh Li-Ion-battery for up to 10 hours’ operation time. Due to the integrated 128mb flash memory, the Flasher Portable PLUS can be loaded with up to 8 firmware images and configuration files. The ability to store multiple images provides the freedom to carry updates for different devices and/or different revisions for the same device inside one small box.
The Flasher Secure is a mass production programming system, capable of protecting the vendor’s IP regardless of the production site. It provides full control over the programming process at contract manufacturers (CM) and similar environments. CMs have access to customer IP and large quantities of the components they are contracted to produce. Because of this, it’s essential that customers control both their IP and limit CM production to prevent theft and secure revenue. To combat these threats, Flasher Secure uses mutual authentication, authorization, and confidentiality to secure your IP and production run. As an IP owner, you have full end-to-end control of your production chain.
The Flasher ATE (Automated Test Equipment) is a modular gang programmer designed for mass production. Flasher ATEs centre is the motherboard, that handles all communication between environment and the programming modules. Each programming module is an independent flash programming unit. This enables programming the microcontrollers of a multi-controller systems simultaneously as well. The modular design allows the scaling of up to 10 parallel programming units. The flat design of the Flasher ATE is a perfect fit for any 19-inch rack. Like all products of the Flasher product family, the Flasher ATE is a programming device that uses the fast programming algorithms of the J-Link family.
