embOS the smallest thus powerful and reliable real time OS now offers a board support package and start project for the for Stellaris LM3S2965 and LM3S6965 devices. The software includes embOSView the real time kernel viewer which displays the state of the running application when using embOS. embOS is a high-performance RTOS that has been optimized for minimum memory consumption in both RAM and ROM, as well as high speed and versatility. embOS is fully source-compatible on different platforms (8/16/32 bits), making it easy to port applications to different CPUs and hardware.

The embOS plug-in for the IAR Embedded Workbench provides embOS awareness during debugging sessions. The state of serveral embOS objects such as tasks, resource semaphores, mailboxes or timers can be inspected.
